THREE DAYS GRACE lyrics - Three Days Grace

Wake Up

Original and similar lyrics
I'm not sober all the time, you bring me down at least you try, until we see this eye to eye, I don't want you, I must be running out of luck, cause you're just not drunk enough to F**K, and now I've had it up to here, I don't want you, It took so long to see, you walked away from me, when I need you, Wake up I'm pounding on the door, I'm not the man I was before, where the hell are you, when I need you, wake up I'm pounding on the door, I wont hurt you anymore, where the hell are you, when I need you, I'm not angry all the time, you push me down at least you try, until we see this eye to eye, I don't want you, Wake up I'm pounding on the door, I'm not the man I was before, where the hell are you, when I need you, wake up I'm pounding on the door, I wont hurt you anymore, where the hell are you, when I need you, It took so long to see, you walked away from me, when I need you, Wake up I'm pounding on the door, I'm not the man I was before, where the hell are you, when I need you, wake up I'm pounding on the door, I wont hurt you anymore, where the hell are you, when I need you

In The End

ANTHRAX "Worship Music"
Our star was out tonight Our diamond shined so bright I watched it go Farther than he ever dreamed I can't take it No matter how I try I can't stop asking why 'Cause something's broken Scared it breaks my heart I won't take it, can't break it In the end I'm pounding on the door But It's already over Too little, too late In the end He'll be my light in the dark For when the sun goes down When the sun goes down on me And when the greatest falls Heaven and Hell will call Stand up and fight On and on his memory screams I can't take it Stand up and fight withal I won't take it, I can't break it In the end I'm pounding on the door But It's already over Too little, too late In the end They'll be my light in the dark For when the sun goes down For when the sun goes down In the end I'm kicking down the door And I'm taking this over I'm cleaning the slate In the end They'll be my light in the dark For when the sun goes down When the sun goes down on me Did I thank you, for our time together? Did I thank you, for making me better? Did I thank you, for being the one I would Bleed and kill for? Did I thank you for tearing my head off? Ripping my heart out Fucking my world Do we tell you how much we loved you? Do we tell you you made our dreams come true? Do we tell you you were the one? Paving our way, the damage is done Did we thank you for tearing our head off? Ripping our hearts out Fucking our world! I can't break it In the end I'm pounding on the door But It's already over Too little, too late In the end He'll be my light in the dark When the sun goes down When the sun goes down In the end I'm pounding on the door But It's already over Too little, too late In the end He'll be my light in the dark For when the sun goes down When the sun goes down on me

Saints In Hell

JUDAS PRIEST "Stained Class"
(Tipton/Halford/Downing) They laughed at their gods And fought them in vain So he turned his back on them And left them in pain Now here come the saints With their banners held high Each one of them martyrs Quite willing to die Wake the dead, the saints are in Hell Wake the dead, they've come for the bell Cover your fists Razor your spears It's been our possession For 8,000 years Fetch the scream eagles Unleash the wild cats Set loose the king cobras And blood sucking bats Wake the dead, the saints are in hell Wake the dead, they've come for the bell We are saints In hell We are saints In hell We're going down Into the fire We're going down Into the fire The streets run with blood from the mass mutilation As carnage took toll for the bell Abattoir, abattoir, mon Dieu quelle horreur For a time is was like second hell Saints in Hell Saints in Hell The battle is over, the saints are alive How can we all thank you, we felt so despised Saints in Hell Saints in Hell Saints in Hell Saints in Hell Saints in Hell Saints in Hell [Fade]

Your Dad Did

JOHN HIATT "Bring The Family"
Well the sun comes up and you stare your cup of coffee, yup Right through the kitchen floor You feel like hell so you might as well get out and sell Your smart ass door to door And the Mrs. wears her robe slightly undone As your daughter dumps her oatmeal on your son And you keep it hid Just like your did So you go to work just to watch some jerk Pick up the perks You were in line to get And the guy that hired you just got fired, Your job's expired They just ain't told you yet So you go and buy a brand new set of wheels To show your family just how great you feel Acting like a kid Just like your dad did And BRIDGE: You're a chip off the old block Why does it come as such a shock That every road up which you rock Your dad already did Yeah you've seen the old man's ghost Come back as creamed chipped beef on toast Now if you dont get your slice of the roast You're gonna flip your lid Just like your dad did, just like your dad did Well the day was long now, supper's on The thrill is gone But something's taking place Yeah the food is cold and your wife feels old But all hands fold As the two year old says grace She says help the starving children to get well But let my brother's hamster burn in hell You love your wife and kids Just like your dad did

Always Running Home

Paloalto
I'm feeling discomfort, my head in a tongue-tied fall I can only possess a fear of a love life in all I'm walking under water And maybe I'll come up for air when it all stops To see right through these colors So how can you run, leave on this road How can you run from here How can you run, fly out the door How can you run like hell I'm scratching out my whole life Never to break through the skin My body's always folding, I'm lost in a complex machine Wondering if the world stops only to tuck me in When it all stops, you see right through these colors So how can you run, leave on this road How can you run from here How can you run, fly out the door How can you run like hell Run like hell How can you run, leave on this road How can you run, fly out the door How can you run, leave on this road How can you run, how can you never let go But you're always running home

The Book

Magazine "Scree"
This man is at the door of Hell...somehow it seems to be his destination after a life of subtle stubbornness. He doesn't expect to find himself waking up out of a dream...he doesn't expect to pinch himself and wake up and that kind of thing...in fact, the thought of that happening makes him smile. He's just mildly surprised to find himself there at the door of Hell. To all accounts, the kindly old man who is the doorman (and who conceivably reminds him of his father) is sat reading a book...but he gets up smartly and without time for either of them to feel that they're standing on ceremony says, Hold my book for a minute, would you, while i get the door open! (Presumably, you know, you need two hands to open the door.) For some reason the old man doesn't just put his book down on the chair It all happens quite quickly...he finds that he's made a decision and is already holding the old man's book...as just about anybody else would have, But it seems a bit curious because...in however small a way you like to consider it...it is as if he's helping himself enter Hell...the path of least resistance. Of course, at the same time he suddenly thinks..Even as he finally grips the book... This is my chance for a reprieve...the final test...the straw which will tip the good deeds over the bad. Next thing he knows, they have exchanged opinions on the book and he has handed it back to the old man and is being shown into Hell.
