JANET JACKSON lyrics - Unbreakable

Well Traveled

Original and similar lyrics
I don't know where this journey will end Cause the world keeps calling me At home people embrace me as a friend And I'm loving all the energy I've come a long way Got a long way to go And I'm so well traveled The only place in my life that I'll miss It's on my bucket list It's a place I don't know In every race Every place that I've ever been There is so much beauty Down every highway's the by-way to exit again So much love I never wanna leave I've come a long way Got a long way to go Cause I'm so well traveled Wherever life takes me I'm willing to go Whatever it takes from me I'ma let it all go I think it's time to go Cause I'm so well traveled Never stay too long Cause I'm so well traveled Trippin' round the world Destination unknown Gotta keep movin' Until I'm gone To find the place I never wanna arrive Cause if I ever reach there There's no place left to go

Waymore's Blues

WAYLON JENNINGS "Dreaming My Dreams"
Well, I woke up this mornin' it was drizzlin' rain Around the curve come a passanger train Heard somebody yodel and a hobo moan Jimmy he's dead, he's been a long time gone. Been a long time gone, a long time gone. If you wanna get to heaven, gotta D-I-E you gotta put on your coat and T-I-E Wanna get the rabbit out of the L-O-G You gotta make a cold motion like D-O-G Like D-O-G, like D-O-G, yeah. Well, I got a good woman, what's the matter with me? What makes me wanna love every woman I see? I was tri'fling when I met her now I'm tri'fling again And every woman she sees looks like the place I came in. Looks like the place I came in place I came in. I got my name painted on my shirt I ain't no ordinary dude I don't have to work I don't have to work...

On My Way Back Home

Clarks
The expressway ends In front of me I've been here before I was too close to see Well, I'm going back To my hometown Well I won't stay long Because I can't sit down Well I used to say That I hate this place It was a different time And a different face Then a couple of years Caught in between You'd think I'd learn You'd think I'd seen On my way back home How's it feel to be alone? Do you wanna be alone? Well I'm set in my ways The way I live my life I never get to low I never get to high I'm not too far gone But I'm not all there If I learned at all I learned in there On my way back home How's it feel to be alone? Do you wanna be alone? On my way back to Narrow's (?) farm I can't believe that I've been gone this long Well I'm settling back for another night And I'll strum on my porch in the pale moon light I don't mind it here in the cool night air Because I know someday I'll be somewhere On my way back home On my way back home How's it feel to be alone? Do you wanna be alone?

Stranger

JAMESTOWN STORY "Show Me Tomorrow"
I used to walk, I used to wander down these roads searching for a place that I could call my home but I never seemed to find anywhere I didn't leave behind I packed my things, followed the wind adding distance to the places I had been the air was warm but I was cold within I walked for miles until I came across a southern bell who lead me to a town where people hung around for their whole life it was the perfect place but somehow I just didn't feel at home so I left before the sun came up at dawn but it was cold so I caught a cab, when I told him to go anywhere he laughed then what he said I'll never forget He said "Son you've got to understand happiness has never been a place that you could go it's the people that you know I could take you further East or West but I don't think you'll rest until you go back to the ones who truly make a place a home" Take me home, that's where I wanna go so take me home, yes sir I wanna go home I realize taking this walk down memory lane the best advice I ever got was on that day I owe my life and everything to a stranger I don't even know his name

Hollow Man (Part 2)

Kula Shaker "K"
I can only speak the words as quickly as they're coming now, believe me, Looking down upon the bed, suspended by a silver thread, I'm breathing. From the feeling that you've felt this before. It's a long load, long lonely road. It's a long road, long journey home. Trying to see poetry within the shifting imagery of meaning Well if you're feeling hollow man Just throw the stone and shatter your reflection...with questions. Well if you're trying as hard as you can To see where you fit in this plan It's a long road, long lonely road. It's a long road, long lonely road. It takes time to find the place you love It takes time to find the place you love Well if you've got to be sure in that feeling you've got to take time. It takes time to find the place you love, Oh it's a long road...long journey home.
